Employability & Volunteer Work

Having previously delivered accredited Customer Service and Business Administration courses for a local employment charity, I now volunteer with a National Charity helping long term unemployed adults to find work. Empathy is key to understanding personal circumstances and the starting point to finding a new job. I provide advice and guidance with CV building, job search and overcoming barriers to employment.

I have a passion for teaching and sharing my knowledge with others in the field of Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing. With years of experience under my belt, I have the skills and expertise to help aspiring engineers master the skills necessary to succeed in industry. I tailor lessons to ensure that each of my students fully understands the concepts and techniques required to operate complex machinery such as lathes and milling machines, pass their course and seek an apprenticeship. This passion extends to helping long-term unemployed adults to find work. Empathy is key to overcoming barriers to employment and identifying sustainable job roles to improve their lives.
